Mr. Frank J. Carretero is member of the Law firm of Bollwerk & Ryan, L.L.C. His primary areas of practice include automobile personal injury,  workers compensation, product liability, wrongful death,
social security disability, probate, traffic and general civil litigation. Mr. Carretero received his B.A. from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1986 and his J.D. in 1991 from St. Louis University Law School.  He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1991 and the Illinois Bar in 1992.

Mr. Carretero is admitted to practice before the: United States Court of Veteran Appeals, (1992); United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, (1995); United States District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, (1992); United States District Court, Central District of Illinois, (1997); and United States District Court, Southern District of Illinois, (1998).  
 
Mr. Carretero has tried to conclusion or verdict in excess of  twenty jury trials and has been involved in a "second chair" capacity as well in the trial preparation of dozens of cases that were tried to verdict before a jury.

Mr. Carretero is a member of the Missouri Bar; Illinois Bar; The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL); the Lawyers Association of St. Louis; St. Louis County Bar Association; and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. Mr. Carretero has also recently been certified in Missouri as a  Guardian Ad Litem.   
 
Prior to joining Bollwerk & Ryan, LLC, Mr. Carretero was employed, during and after law school, for the law firm of Cervantes and Associates for eight years (1991-1999) handling a variety of tort matters ranging from Social Security disability claims to complex FELA, Medical Malpractice and Product Liability cases. Subsequent to his employment with Cervantes and Associates he was a sole practitioner with Law Office of Frank J. Carretero, L.L.C. (1999-2006).  In March of 2006 he merged his practice and joined the law frim of Bollwerk & Ryan, LLC.      
 
Mr. Carretero was born in Madrid, Spain and is fluent in Spanish.  An increasingly growing part of his practice has involved assisting the growing Saint Louis Hispanic community with a variety of legal issues
